  • May 2026 Development Update May 16

This is just a little development update regarding our first game. We had planned to have an early access version earlier this year, however it turns out that that was an underestimation of the amount of work that is required to make a game. The first early access release is now expected to happen in the coming months instead.

We have also decided to work on the Android version at the same time, so desktop, web browser, and Android versions can be released together. This allows us to make sure that the game runs on all sorts of screen sizes, and with various different control inputs. We will support keyboard and mouse, gamepads, and touchscreens. This slows down development a little bit with extra testing, but will provide a better experience overall. Some parts of the game also require features which will only be available in the upcoming Godot version 4.7, which is currently still in beta.

  • Happy New Year Jan 1

Happy New Year, this year will be the launch of our first game. We took a break over Christmas, and we aim to launch our first game in early access on Itch in the coming month. Depending on progress and feedback, the full game should launch in the next few months.

Music and artwork is likely to take the longest to complete, as that’s the area of less experience. We will begin a dev log when things are more ready to show.

  • Website Launch Dec 14

Today marks the launch of our website, which will contain all sorts of information about our games. To follow will be blog posts and videos about game development and progress.

There are currently two games in development. The first, codenamed NMR, is aiming to have a playable early-access version at the start of 2026. The game is also planned for release in the first half of 2026. A mobile version to come after the desktop version. This is only a rough timeline for now, and may change as we get closer to completion.

Our Values

Each game will, at the time of release:

  • Have a free demo.
  • Be low-priced, around the price of one coffee from a cafe or less.
  • Have an accompanying wiki with information about things like characters, levels, updates, etc.
  • Be designed desktop-first.
  • Run on multiple platforms, at least on Windows and Linux.
  • Run smoothly on low-priced computer hardware, including laptops and mini-pcs, with minimum settings. For example, one of our testing machines is a mini-pc with an Intel N100 CPU.

After game release, we aim to:

  • Have mobile versions, depending on game complexity, at least on Android.
  • Add translations in multiple languages.
  • Continue having updates and bug fixes for multiple years.

Regarding AI

  • We will never use Generative AI content in our games. We strongly believe that things like art, music, sound effects, translations, code, and other game content should be created by real people, and those people should be supported financially.
